CMA Exam Updates
The CMA exam is updated every few years to ensure it is testing information that is most relevant to management accounting and finance professionals.
ICMA’s most recent job analysis study showed content areas that needed to be adjusted based on the most in-demand expertise for today’s management accounting professionals. When Should I Take the CMA Exam?
While the upcoming changes are minor, we recommend candidates pass the exam before the changes take effect to avoid the anxiety of the unknown. The last date to sit for the current CMA exam is June 28, 2024. If you have already passed one part of the CMA exam, you will retain credit even if you must take the second part after September 1.
